E-bike Policy

Procycle works on electric bicycles subject to the following policy. Please read this carefully before booking an e-bike service.

Compatible Systems

We currently work on OEM EAPS (Bosch,Shimano,Yamaha, Fazua, Mahle etc) and previous e-bike drive systems. If you are unsure whether your system is compatible, please contact us before booking.

Compatibility Confirmation

Compatibility must be confirmed in advance of any booking. We reserve the right to decline work on systems we are not equipped to service safely.

Batteries & Chargers

Battery keys and chargers must be provided where required for the service. Batteries showing signs of damage, swelling, overheating or failure will be refused and must not be stored on site. We are unable to accept or store unsafe batteries under any circumstances.

Non-Standard Bicycles

Customers with adaptive, cargo or non-standard e-bikes must notify Procycle at the time of booking. Additional considerations and charges may apply depending on the size, weight or configuration of the bicycle. An example being vehicle hire to transport non-standard bicycles for transport of larger goods. 

Safety

E-bike safety is taken seriously. Any battery or electrical component that presents a risk will not be worked on and will need to be addressed before a service can proceed.
